I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals develop greater self-awareness and a deeper understanding of their life experiences. I support clients in exploring how past experiences and trauma impact their ability to reach personal goals and live fulfilling lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.
With over ten years of experience, I have worked with adults navigating a range of mental health challenges including depression, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, substance use, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Kean University and am bilingual in English and Spanish. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and have a particular understanding of the cultural values, family dynamics, and lived experiences often present within Hispanic communities. I am able to provide therapy in Spanish, offering a space where clients can express themselves comfortably and authentically in their preferred language.
I practice with a culturally responsive and inclusive lens, recognizing the importance of culture, identity, family dynamics, and lived experiences in the healing process. I strive to create a safe, affirming environment where your identity and values are respected and integrated into our work together.
My goal is to help you reach your full potential by fostering healthy engagement, strengthening communication skills, and supporting the development of meaningful and fulfilling relationships. Through our work together, we will engage in a process of self-discovery, empowerment, and goal achievement. As your therapist, I aim to help you build self-esteem, increase confidence, practice self-forgiveness, develop greater self-awareness and self-reliance, and learn effective coping strategies. I will meet you where you are, understand your unique needs, and support you in achieving meaningful and lasting growth.
